About the Directory
Description
The Charlottesville/Albemarle Youth Opportunity Center connects families with a searchable directory of youth programs, events, and resources across the Blue Ridge Health District. The directory is designed to provide an overview of local public, private, and not-for-profit organizations that focus on providing programs or services to youth, ages 0-18, and their families.
This directory is designed to help navigate youth opportunities available in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area and is not a substitute for direct referrals or emergency services.
Data Collection Methodology
The information and organizations included on this site are pulled from local directories and existing websites. Language on each listing is pulled from publicly available materials, such as organizations’ websites, as is all contact information and listing addresses. The directory also includes submissions from local organizations and partners.
The directory is updated quarterly by staff at the Center for Community Partnerships.
