CCS Summer Options
Need Care After Summer School? We’ve Got Options!
Many summer camps in Charlottesville run full-day programs, but families of students enrolled in Charlottesville City Schools summer school often need something different: afternoon options after the summer school day ends.
This page highlights programs that may work for students after summer school, including programs that allow students to:
1. Stay at school with CCS’ 2026 preferred partner Piedmont Family YMCA
2. Travel to another community based site providing support like the Boys & Girls Club on Cherry Avenue, or

Please review each program carefully for ages served, transportation options, cost, registration details, and eligibility requirements.
